The Hanover Company, through its environmental consultant, has submitted its Notice of Intent application to Weston’s Conservation Commission. This is a required step per the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protections due to proposed work within the buffer zone to wetland resource area. The application materials are available online for public review (link below). To follow process, subscribe to receive email/text notification of when Conservation Commission agendas are posted to the website. Agendas are posted at least 48 business hours prior to the meeting.

Comprehensive Permit Public Hearings
The Hanover Company, with 518 South Ave LLC, has filed an application for the comprehensive permit for Hanover Weston. This application triggers a judicial process where members of the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) hold a series of public hearings to receive information regarding the project. These public hearings must be held within a set time frame and a decision is filed at the end. This is a prescribed process set by state law. All documents developed during the public hearing process are posted online and can be found by following the public hearing documents link below.
The ZBA comprehensive permit public hearing for Hanover Weston opened in August of 2019 and immediate closed. The project is currently under appeal in court. If the project comes back to the ZBA, residents can receive notification of hearing notices/agendas by subscribing to the ZBA at Weston.org/StayInformed.
