History of the Weston Public Library

In 1857, one thousand citizens of Weston voted to establish a free public library which was housed in a small room in the old town hall.

In 1900, a new building devoted exclusively to the library was opened at 356 Boston Post Road.

In 1995, the Weston Public Library at 87 School Street opened with expanded print and non-print collections, public computer terminals, individual study rooms and community meeting rooms.
