The Board guides and directs the programs and initiatives of the Council on Aging/Senior Center. Members also participate in committees and special programs initiated by the Board.

Support the enhancement of transportation options for older adults.
Further development of supports for caregivers.
Improve public awareness of COA programs and resources.
Promote diversity of housing options for older adults.
Increase opportunities for social interaction for older adults.
Collaborate with the schools and other organizations in town to provide inter-generational programs.
Foster communication and understanding of the COA's mission among Town boards and elected officials.
Appointment
The COA board members are appointed by the Select Board and its members serve for four-year terms and may only be reappointed once.
