  1. WCCA Clothing and Supply Drive for the Metrowest YMCA Early Learning Center

    Please join the WCCA in a clothing and supply drive from November 16th through December 4th to support the children of the YMCA Metrowest Early Learning Center in Framingham. The YMCA Early Learning Center provides high quality early education and care to children ages 15 months through 5 years old. The YMCA Early Learning Center is in need of some clothing and other supplies. Let’s help make the children feel warm and comfortable while learning, exploring, socializing, and having fun.

    We can accept ONLY the following new or almost new items in good condition:
    -Clothing sizes 15 months and up
    -Outerwear including jackets, socks, hats, mittens sizes 15 months and up
    -Indoor toys – no trademarked characters accepted
    -Floor puzzles - no trademarked characters accepted
    -Books - no trademarked characters accepted
    -Art/Craft supplies
    -Baby supplies
    -Sanitizing supplies

  2. Teen Mandala Ornaments

    Participants will create a mandala ornament using basic "pointillism" techniques. They will have a fun festive ornament in the end, along with the knowledge of how to create more pieces on their own time.

    This “slow flow” class is appropriate for anyone who can comfortably get up and down off a yoga mat. No previous yoga experience is required and everyone is encouraged to move at his or her own pace. Yoga poses can increase strength, improve mobility and enhance balance. Through poses or “asana,” yoga offers the opportunity to connect to the breath and cultivate inner focus and calm. Mats and props are available.

  4. Medicare Open Enrollment Appointments

    Medicare plans change every year. This is the time to decide on your coverage for 2021. Trained SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) counselors provide free Medicare counseling to help you compare options. If you are enrolled in a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan or a Medicare Advantage Plan (HMO/ PPO), you should have received an information packet from your plan by the end of September. It is important to understand and save this information because it explains the changes in your plan for 2021.
