    November 5, 2020, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Hosted on Zoom

The COA invites you to a virtual celebration of Diwali! Diwali is India’s most important holiday of the year and gets its name from the row of lamps Indians light outside their homes. The five-day celebration traditionally includes fireworks, colored sand, candles and lamps, new clothes and family activities. Our Diwali celebration, hosted by Weston residents Anjana Bhargava and Chetna Putta, will feature a special gift bag, delicious Indian cuisine in your own home, stories from Ramayana (one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India) and traditional Diwali activities and goodies, including do-it-yourself henna tattoo, creating Diwali wall hanging and learning to dance to Bollywood music. You will be given a designated time to pick up your celebration package/food at the COA. If you are unable to pick it up, let us know and we will make arrangements for delivery. RSVP to the COA by October 29 781 786 6280.
