COVID-19 Information

The state announced its plans to open eligibility of the COVID-19 vaccine to residents 65 and older, effective February 18th. To absorb the additional number of eligible individuals needing the vaccine, the state also announced its plans to ensure the vaccine will reach eligible residents in an efficient and equitable manner. As such, vaccines will be distributed through mass vaccination sites, 20 of the hardest-hit communities in Massachusetts, and retail locations (such as pharmacies). Local Health Departments will not be receiving additional vaccine doses.

Weston will have enough vaccine to follow-up with the second dose for those residents who have received the vaccine in Weston but will not be holding additional clinics for first-time recipients. If you registered for a clinic in Weston but did not receive your first dose in town, you will need to book an appointment through the state's site or by calling 211. Weston's Board of Health is working with the Council on Aging to ensure the needs of our most vulnerable residents are met.
